Equip Co. USA, Inc. is a family owned and operated restaurant equipment dealership located in South Florida with a sister company abroad. With two generations and more than 60 years of experience in the Culinary Industry, then later Foodservice Equipment, EQUIP CO.USA, Inc. has developed a reputation of quality, integrity, and innovation that has played a significant role in developing loyal clientele.
Omar Masri is the son of a successful Chef/restaurateur who owned and operated several restaurants for over 30 years. He along with his three brothers, who also became chefs, have been traveling all over the world working for upscale restaurants and five star hotels for the past three decades.
In the mid 1990's Omar started a side business, exporting restaurant equipment to their company overseas that originated by one of his brothers (who already had abandoned his cooking and established this new trade in the early 1990's). This side business began to grow rapidly and saw the potential for a larger more successful venture. He resigned from his position, which he held for 12 years, at one of the country's most exclusive Country Clubs in Boca Raton, Florida. He then purchased a showroom/warehouse and started a retail company, Equip Co. USA, which was incorporated in 2006. This was to go along with his wholesale export business.
During his years in the foodservice and hospitality industry, he became acquainted with many Owners, General Managers, Purchasing Directors, Executive Chefs and Food & Beverage Directors for virtually all kinds of foodservice and hospitality establishments, who now continuously use his services. The personal attention given to every individual customer has created a loyal base of returning clients who continually recommend Equip Co. USA, Inc. services to others.
